'Perspective' is a one movement string quartet of intermediate level. It is in ternary form with a fast-slow-fast structure. Section A offers spirited melodies interplayed between violin 1 and 2, while the cello and viola provide a lively, driving rhythmical accompaniment. Section B has the cello provide a soft, strummed open string accompaniment while the other strings perform slow, legato and lyrical melodies and harmonies above. Section A returns to finish the piece once again with the lively rhythmical motifs from before.
